There is more here than a bed and a view.
Some of it is scheduled, most of it just happens. Here is what the farm and the valley have going on — come for one of these, or arrive with no plan and let the week decide.

Three nights in a row
Friday is open mic — the deck fills with people, most of them musicians or close enough, and the mic is open to whoever wants it. You do not have to play; plenty of people come to listen. Saturday is poker. Sunday is pizza night, the wood oven running and the tables full. Arrive on a Friday and the whole weekend is already planned for you.

The farm tour
We walk you round the beds, the food forest, the water systems and the animals, and explain why each thing sits where it does. About an hour. If you only do one thing here, do this — it is the difference between seeing a pretty garden and understanding a system that works. It runs on a voluntary contribution — give what it was worth to you, and nothing if that is where you are. And it lands on open mic day, so come at two and stay for the evening.

Eat off the farm
The kitchen cooks with what the farm and the valley produced that week, so the menu moves with the seasons. There are vegan and vegetarian plates, not as an afterthought. And the goats live directly under the restaurant, which guests find out when they go down to meet them.

Courses and workshops
Permaculture design, mushroom cultivation, natural building, fermentation — run by the people who built this place and use these skills daily. Some are one afternoon, some run for weeks. What is on depends on the month.

The sauna, and moving your body
A wood-fired sauna in an earthen dome, surrounded by garden. Ecstatic dance and yoga happen here and at neighbouring spaces along the valley — Tzununá has a lot of this, and word travels between the houses faster than any calendar.

The lake and the waterfalls
The lake is a short walk downhill and the waterfalls are a walk up behind the village. Both are free, both are worth the morning, and neither needs booking. Ask us for the path before you go — some of the trails are better than others.
Just ask us
The weekend runs itself: tour and open mic on Friday, poker on Saturday, pizza on Sunday. The rest moves month to month. Message us on WhatsApp with the dates you are thinking about and we will tell you what will be on while you are here.
