Free live design session · Saturday 5 December · Online
Bring me your land. I’ll design three of them live.
On Saturday 5 December I’m running a free live design session. Send in your map and your land could be one of three I take apart in front of everyone, treated exactly like a paying client.
Everyone who comes learns the decision-making process behind it. And one person leaves with a full scholarship to our year-long program.
Save my spot
First name and email. That’s all.
What happens on the day
Three registrants get their land designed live. I take their site analysis and their mission statement and build a concrete plan for the next three to six months, the same way I would for a client who paid me for it.
Everyone watching gets the real method. The decision-making process and the design strategy behind every call I make. This saves people years, and tens of thousands of dollars, on projects they were about to get wrong.
Not a talk you half-watch. Come with your land in hand.
How your land gets chosen
Simple. Do the assignment. Make a base map with a sector analysis, and send it in. I choose the three from the submissions.
Everyone who submits brings their project to the session and can send questions ahead, so you get something out of it whether your land is picked or not.
Get your assignment done: submit your map
Submissions close Wednesday 2 December. Not started yet? The mapping guide walks every route step by step.
One person wins a full scholarship
At the live session we announce one winner: a full scholarship to the Designers’ Incubator, our year-long program for learning to design like a professional and make or save serious money, teach and transform land as you go, and build an organisation that moves your region toward food sovereignty.
We choose from the submissions and the calls, and announce it live. You have to be there.
Who this is for
You own land, you’re about to, or you want to design other people’s land for a living, and you’re ready to do the work rather than just watch.
Register, send your map, and I’ll see you on the 5th.
