CreaSol Permaculture
A CreaSol-designed regenerative landscape
Design & build, done for you

You've got the land and the vision. We'll design it, build it, and hand it to you finished.

For fifteen years we've designed and built regenerative farms, homes, food forests, and whole landscapes across Guatemala and beyond. If you have land and the means to transform it, and you'd rather it was done properly by people who've done it before, this is for you.

You want it done

There’s a version of this where you learn permaculture design, spend two years studying, and slowly build your land yourself. For a lot of people, that’s the right path, and we teach it.

This isn’t that.

This is for the person who has land, has a vision, and has better things to do than become a designer. You want it read correctly, designed beautifully, and built well — by people who’ve done it a hundred times and won’t make the expensive mistakes a first-timer makes. You want to hand it over and receive something finished.

That’s exactly what we do.

What we do

Tailor-made, from plan to finished build

Every project is different, so we scope each one to fit. Depending on what you need, that ranges from a master plan you build from, all the way to a finished landscape we design and construct for you.

Read your land

Drone mapping, topographical survey, and a full site analysis — water, sun, soil, slope, access. We find out what your land wants before we draw a line.

Design the whole system

A master plan that places everything in the right order — water, access, structures, planting, productive zones — so the land works with itself instead of against itself. Delivered as a plan you can see your whole future in.

Build it

When you want it carried through, we manage the build: earthworks and water systems, natural construction, planting, the works. We’ve built houses, food forests, water systems, and entire landscapes. We don’t just hand you a drawing and walk away.

Whatever the scope — you receive a result, not a to-do list.

How far you want to take it

Three depths, depending on what you’re building

Every client comes to us at a different scale of ambition. So we work at three depths — pick the one that fits what you’re building.

Design

We read your land and design the whole system — the master plan you’ll build from. The foundation everything else rests on.

For the owner who wants the thinking done right, then takes it from there.

Most complete

Design + Capacity

Everything in Design, plus ongoing consultation while it comes to life, and we train your people to do the work and maintain it. Two ways to do the training: our team comes to you, or you send your team here to Guatemala, to Granja Tz’ikin, to learn hands-on in a working system and take that knowledge home.

For the owner who wants the land done right and wants their own people to own it going forward.

The Legacy Project

Everything above, taken to its fullest. We don’t just design and build your project — we document the entire process, help you launch it to the world, and establish you as a leader in the regenerative movement. Your land becomes more than a place; it becomes a story that inspires the next hundred projects, with you at the centre of it.

For the person building something they want the world to see, and to be known for.

Most people know which of these they want the moment they read it. If you’re not sure, that’s exactly what the call is for.

See the work

The best way to understand what we do is to see it

Here’s our work, grouped by the kind of project.

Mapping & master plans

The thinking before anything is built — reading a whole property and drawing where everything belongs.

Landscape design

Finished landscapes that hold a site and make it beautiful — our deepest category.

Granja Tz’ikin — Our own flagship landscape and food forest — a multi-level bamboo build wrapped in productive planting, with every method we teach proven here first.

Agroforestry, water & implementation

Design carried into the ground — productive systems, water management, and the projects we supervise and build at scale.

Why us

Two things make the difference in a build like this, and neither is ecological knowledge — plenty of people have that.

The first is having finished before. We’ve designed and built across wildly different sites and climates — steep volcanic slopes, degraded farmland, lakeshore, Texas ranch land. The range is the point: the method holds, the specifics change, and we already know where the traps are.

The second is knowing how projects actually go wrong. I’ve watched hundreds of them, and the failures are almost never ecological. They’re money pits, wrong sequencing, and burnout — building the road before the water, the trees before the plan, spending years and a fortune undoing decisions made in an afternoon.

We’ve made those mistakes so you don’t have to. Getting the order right the first time is the whole value.

Who this is for

This is for you if

  • You have land and the means to transform it
  • You’d rather it was done properly than done cheaply
  • You value the years and the money that good design saves you
  • You’re building something you care about — a farm, a home, a retreat, a community

This isn’t for you if

  • You want to learn to do it yourself — that’s our program, and it’s a better fit
  • You’re looking for the lowest bid
  • You want it fast and generic — we take on a small number of projects and we do them properly

How it works

A conversation

We get on a call, you tell us about your land and what you’re building, and we tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit and what it would take.

A proposal

If it’s a fit, we scope the project — design only, or design and build — and give you a clear plan and price.

We go to work

Mapping, analysis, design, and, if you want it, the build. You stay involved as much or as little as you like.

You receive it

A finished design, or a finished landscape. Yours.

The invitation

We take on a limited number of design-and-build projects at a time, because we do them properly and we do them ourselves. If you're building something serious, let's find out if we're the right people for it. No pressure, no hard sell — just a conversation about your land.
