I'M Neal.
I’m a permaculture designer, teacher, and founder of CreaSol Permaculture, a global community of designers proving that building eco-communities can be both impactful and profitable.
Â
Â
From Guatemala’s farm-to-table Granja Tz’ikin to the classrooms of CreaSol, I’ve spent the last 15 years using permaculture design to regenerate land, empower communities, and spark an agricultural revolution.
What started as a small farm -Granja Tzikin -has grown into a living classroom, a global network of designers, and a movement proving that ecological design can be both impactful and profitable.
Now, together with Adrian Grenier and Kintsugi Ranch, we’re bringing this vision to Austin — training a new generation of designers and showing the world how to build thriving eco-communities.
“It was an honor to co-facilitate the permaculture course with CreaSol. We learned so much about water harvesting, energy storage, and biomass management while setting up a syntropic system. I was able to implement the design I created for my portfolio: we dug swales, planted fruit trees, nitrogen fixers, and pioneer species adapted to the climate. In just five days, with an amazing group, we turned a plan into a living reality.”

Justin Chromardie – Permaculture Course with CreaSol
“I want to thank the CreaSol team—Neal and Justin—for their guidance and support. The original permaculture course I took with Neal five years ago was a major inspiration for my journey into this work and lifestyle.
This work continues, and if you have land, a project, or you’re serious about stepping into regenerative agriculture and this movement, I couldn’t recommend CreaSol more highly. They made a huge difference for me—and I believe they will for you, too. Let’s do it together.”
